School Structure
This is an overview of the school’s structure and the
dynamics of how the school works
Private
Lessons
Private lessons are now being scheduled on an ongoing basis
in Denver as the core function of the school. Please
contact the director to schedule a
lesson.
Workshop
Occasionally there will be a need to schedule a workshop
type class, if there is such a need notifications will be
sent out to current students.
Cèilidh Class
This fun class is offered from time to time and is open to
everyone that wishes to participate including
‘non-students’. The purpose of this class is to
round out the dance styles that are offered at the school
and provide an outlet for dance for those that do not dance
on a regular basis.
Competitive Club
One of the avenues for Scottish dance is to compete at the
various dance competitions around the world. For those
competitive students in the school we have formed a
competitive club. The purpose of this club set goals,
develop focus, provide extra feedback, get critiques,
produce encouragement and form a support and resource
network for those students. There are guidelines that will
need to be followed for a student to compete, and all
competitive students (and parents) are asked to follow
these guidelines. Competitive Club is active April/May
through August, and it is strongly encouraged that all
competitive students with the school participate.
